Available in Montour County, Stop Hopper is an on-demand microtransit service that brings flexible public transportation to rural and small-town communities. It’s designed to fill the gap between traditional bus routes and personal transportation, using compact, neighborhood-friendly vehicles that come to you.
It works similarly to a rideshare: you use the Stop Hopper app to request a ride anywhere within the service zone. That could be your home, your job, or just about anywhere else you need to be.
Once you request your stop, we’ll hop to it. The app gives you an estimated pick-up time, lets you track your ride in real time, and sends an alert when the vehicle arrives. All for just $2.00 per one-way trip, or free for seniors 65+ with a registered Free Fare ID card.
